The new ETHICON ENDO-SURGERY Linear Cutter is the only linear cutter with 6-row, 3-D surgical staple technology delivering superior hemostasis. It is a sterile, single-patient-use instrument that simultaneously staples and divides tissue. It may be used for transection, resection, and the creation of anastomoses. 6-Rows of staples, three rows on each side of the cut line. 3-D surgical staple designed with angled, parallel legs to increase the area of tissue compression. Selectable Staple Height feature accommodating various tissue thicknesses using one cartridge/reload. (closed staple heights of 1.5mm, 1.8mm, or 2.0mm). Up to twelve firings. Intermediate locking mechanism gives you easier, one-handed tissue manipulation. Two sided firing allows for firing at any angle, whether left or right handed. Non-slip grip surfaces providing improved control of the device. Safety Lockout feature prevents firing of unloaded device, and preventing firing of a used cartridge/reload.
