Blue Line Ultra® Suctionaid® Tracheostomy Tube Kit, Cuffed Tube. Tube ID (mm): 6.0mm. Latex-free. Sterilized using Ethylene Oxide. Disposable - do not reuse. Suctionaid® facilitates safe and comfortable SUCTION ABOVE THE CUFF of sub-glottic secretion as recommended by CDC. Arc is tapered anteriorly to keep distal tip midline. Hollow obturator with retaining clips and hemispherical tip aid tube insertion. Soft-Seal® cuff with low profile and smooth transition to the tube eases insertion. Thermosensitive material, with sufficient initial rigidity for insertion, conforms to the individual patient's upper respiratory tract at body temperature. Clear anatomically-shaped flange provides better access for stoma care. Change kit includes a 'J' tip guidewire which is placed through existing tube prior to removal. Hollow obturator allows new tube to be 'rail-roaded' over guidewire to aid proper placement. Packaging: 1/Each.
