DOUBLE-STRUNG SPONGES WITH BLUE COTTON THREAD. 7/8". X-ray detectable. Our tonsil sponges are made of 100% X-ray-detectable USP gauze Type III with a cotton filling. Available unstrung, double-strung with cotton thread for use in tight areas or strung with a cotton tape, the sponges come fixed to an accountability card with adhesive backing. The consistently firm structure of these sterile sponges makes them excellent for packing and applying medications to the surgical site. Packaging: 250 sponges per case.
