The Palindrome H Heparin Coated Dialysis Catheter is coated with a non-eluting heparin coating, which employs both anti-thrombogenic and non-thrombogenic effects, decreasing the likelihood of clot formation and inhibiting fibrin sheath propagation. The Palindrome H Heparin Coated Dialysis Catheter is indicated for hemodialysis, apheresis and infusion. The Palindrome H Heparin Coated Dialysis Catheter addresses the serious clinical challenge of clotting. Its non-eluting heparin coating covers the external surface of the catheter from tip to cuff, and internally from tip to adapters, to ensure optimal protection. It decreases the likelihood of clot formation, inhibits fibrin sheath propagation and has long-lasting effectiveness remaining intact after 13 months of simulated dialysis treatment. The non-eluting heparin coating is biocompatible and has also shown to have no systemic effect. UOM: 5/CT.
