This unique blend provides an exclusive combination of properties that enables DURAFIBER to meet the many challenges of exuding wounds: High Wet Strength: Cellulose fibers give the dry and gelled matrix in-built structural integrity. Excellent Absorbency: Gelling fibers swell and gel on contact with exudate absorbing and locking in fluid. Minimal Shrinkage: Reinforcing fibers retain the dressings shape when wet, minimizing shrinkage.
