ComfortFoam® Border Self-Adherent Soft Silicone Foam Dressing with Border. 4" x 4" (10cm x 10cm). ComfortFoam Border is a highly absorbent self-adherent silicone foam island dressing consisting of a soft silicone contact layer, a flexible polyurethane foam pad and a vapor-permeable, moisture-proof outer film. The silicone adhesive sticks to surrounding skin but not to the wound bed, minimizing pain and the risk of damage to the wound area. Low profile border for added adhesion. Showerproof. Sterile unless opened or damaged. Silicone adhesive is gentle to both wound bed and skin for safe, easy removal. Low profile border for added adhesion and flexibility. Absorbs exudate while minimizing the risk of maceration. Border is showerproof and prevents exudate leakage. Supports moist wound healing. Provides thermal insulation and protection.
