Neo-HeLP is a medical device for the neonatal heat loss prevention. It is a sterile suit especially designed to cover the body of the baby from head to toe, immediately after delivery, while keeping an easy access for care. Neo-HeLP consists of: a double layer of polyethylene which creates a greenhouse effect and protects from drafts and from evaporation of amniotic fluid, a hood, fully adjustable to the infant's head, which does not let the ambient air through and thus limits the dispersion of heat from the head, a pre-formed foam which acts as a barrier against heat loss by conduction and maintains the head of the baby in a tilted position to release the neonate's airway.
