DOC Guide Wire Extension (.014 & .018 inch wire compatibility) .014 inch diameter extension wire that provides the necessary length on the proximal end of the guide wire (adds approximately 143 cm in length) to allow the exchange of one catheter for another. Can be removed from guide wire after catheter exchange is completed for continued guide wire use. Compatible with both .014 inch and .018 inch HI-TORQUE Guide Wires that have been modified at the proximal end for attaching to the DOC Guide Wire Extension.
