Life/form® Lower Stump Bandage Simulator. Featuring the realism of appearance always found with Life/form® products, this simulator makes the learning and demonstrating of stump bandaging much more effective and convenient for teacher and student. The simulator eliminates the need for live patients and gives the students an opportunity to practice at their own pace. The lower half is designed in the shape of a prone patient with legs slightly abducted. One leg is amputated below the knee, and the other above the ankle. The stumps are formed in the traditional way to add to the realism. Most standard bandaging procedures can be practiced or demonstrated. The lower torso is long enough to allow carrying the bandage around the body over the uninvolved hip at the level of the iliac crest. (Note: There is no embedded palpable skeletal material.)
