Econolux® Gauze sponge 2" x 2". 8-ply. Sterile 2's. 100% Cotton. Hartmann 416103 Econolux 2" x 2". Gauze Sponge 8 Ply comes with two sterile sponges in each pouch. The box contains easy peel-back pouches for aseptic handling to prevent contamination. The sponges are ideal for a number of wound care applications. It has 8-ply construction and is made from 100 percentwoven cotton offering excellent wicking action. This makes for effective wound packing or placed as a secondary dressing to absorb high amounts of wound exudate. The gauze sponge is also used to clean the wound by debriding the wound before it's bandaged. The edges are tucked inside the gauze to prevent linting. UOM: 2/PK, 100PK/BX, 30BX/CS.
