Prep-Swab Ampule .65 cc. Aplicare's Prep-Swab Ampule is a glass ampule, encased in a plastic tube that is sealed at one end, and has an absorbent applicator at the other end. The glass ampule contains 0.65cc of 10% Povidone-Iodine USP, 1% available Iodine. The plastic tube is squeezed to break the ampule to release the PVP-I which then saturates the applicator end. Uses: IV Therapy, Blood Cultures, Small Site Prep. Advantages: Ampule keeps solution off of fingers. 10 boxes of 100 liquid pouches per case.
