DROPPER CATALASE REAGENT

Microbiology Reagent BD BBL Catalase 3% 0.5 mL. Used in a qualitative procedure for determining catalase activity by bacteria. The enzyme catalase is present in most aerobic and facultatively anaerobic bacteria, with the major exception of streptococci and enterococci. The enzyme catalase decomposes hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen.
